Small batch inaugural release of our premium estate grown Semillon aged in oak, light in colour with orange blossom bouquet. Subtle citrus notes at first taste build to an explosion of citrus before a long buttery and smooth end note leaves you wanting for more. Oaking for 10 months adds flavour compounds, it allows for the slow intake of oxygen, which helps make wine smoother and less astringent. It certainly creates a great alternative to the usual Hunter Valley style Semillon.
